We were so sorry that we missed the service. Both of us really liked Bob and had a lot in common with him. We will remember all the good times we had together.
We are sending a donation in his name to the Cayuga County emergency relief fund today.
He will be missed by us and all those who knew him.

I’ll always remember Uncle Bob sitting in the chair by his console radio when I was little and over at Grandma and Granny’s house especially at Christmas when the whole extended family was there. They were great times! Also Uncle Bob would borrow our cocker spaniel Taffy when he would go hunting. I wonder still if that dog provided any help but Uncle Bob never complained and took him again and again!
Uncle Bob we miss you, love you, and will remember you till we meet again.

To the Family,
I would like to express my deepest sympathy to each of you.
If a man die, shall he live again? asked the man Job long ago. (Job 14:14) How would you feel if you knew that a reunion with your loved ones was possible right here on earth under the best of conditions?
God is the giver of life. He hates and views death as an enemy.(1 Corinthians 15:26) He has a longing to conquer that enemy, to undo death by means of the resurrection. He yearns to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them live on earth again. (Job 14:14)

I worked for Bob for a short time early in my career. After a few months and a lot of success leading a team, Bob assigned me to a new area and gave me a brand new and very green team. At first I was unhappy with him for "taking" my team from me and told him as much. He responded that not only did he believe in my ability to handle the assignment, but that my career would be full of change, and that I should look for and take advantage of opportunities to challenge myself. Of course, with Bob to coach and guide me, all went well and all these years later Bob's advice has help shaped the way I approach my career. He was a good friend and mentor and will be missed.
With my deepest sympathies
