Dear Frederick, Judy-&-Ted, Pamela-&-William, James-&-Betty Anne, Gary-&-Wanda, Brian-&-Lynne, Christopher-&-Ellen, Amy-&-Jason, Julie, Laurie and Stacy, and other Family and Friends:
I was saddened to learn of the death of Karen almost a year ago on December 29, 2015. It is sad to lose a loved one in death at any time or any age, but hopefully, prayerfully at 69 years old, it could be said of Karen what was said of Isaac at Genesis 35:29, “she died old and satisfied with days.” Even though I did not know Karen personally, please accept my deepest sympathy at your loss.
May I please share with you some comforting verses from the Bible, thoughts that others have shared with me when I lost loved ones in death, especially my father, Harold, to cancer at Hospice Hawaii.
First, it was never our Creator's purpose that anyone should die, ever! When He put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, they had the prospect of endless life in ageless bodies, in perfect health, on a perfect Earth (Genesis 1:28). Adam and Eve could have passed that life on to us, but they disobeyed and lost everything for themselves ... and us. (Romans 5:12)
Next, it comforted me, and softened my feelings about Jehovah God to learn that it is Satan who causes aging, sicknesses like cancer, and death--not God (Hebrews 2:14). Long before He created humans, the Creator already had all the angels He wanted in heaven (Job 38:7).
Finally, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are our guarantees that this Earth will yet be a peaceful, global paradise and that Karen (and countless millions of others, including James & Kathleen) will be resurrected to enjoy it! Remember Jesus's words at John 5:28-29a and John 11:25: "I am the resurrection and the life," and "all those in the memorial tombs ... will be resurrected." Until then Karen, Rest In Peace.
May you have comfort and peace from these promises until the day when you can be reunited with a young and healthy Karen. And, ... If you would ever like to know more about when and how our Creator Jehovah will bring about these wonderful blessings (or why He has allowed sickness, suffering and death since Adam and Eve sinned so long ago), please feel free to contact me at the address below.
With deepest sympathy and genuine respect,
Harolyne Grant

Karen will be missed by many as a wife, mother and as a friend. Nancy and I will remember Karen who has always been a good friend who welcomed us with a warm smile and open arms when we would get together. Fred and Karen would always be there for you should you need help.
Having met Karen back at old Seymour School our friendship as kids had never changed over the years even though we went to separate high schools. Having been close friends with Fred from our Sylvania days it was great to see them married and be together for 39 years.
Pleasant memories will last forever. Karen is in a better place with our Lord and Savior. May God Bless Karen as she will be remembered in our thoughts and prayers.
Our deepest sympathy to Fred and families.

Fred and family;
Sending prayers and comfort in your time of sadness. How I miss Karen and our days at Hand Held. She was a great friend and girl. She always made me feel so good with her smile and laughter. And was always there for me if not just to listen and let me know that things would be alright, it was that wonderful mothering nature. Take care.
