IT has been 6 years now and you would be planning a trip to Kentucky to see everyone as you always did in April..Since you left we have lost Frank and Ralph also. Nellie and Carol are 89 and 90. We are getting whittled down so to speak No fun unless everyone is around, I feel regret every passing year. I keep looking in the Veteran Cemetery in Romulus. but have not found you. I hope you reveal yourself to us before we are gone. We would love to know your final resting place. Our world was a better place with you in it. We miss you. Rest in peace. Your Kentucky family.

Dear Jean, Michelle-&-Bob, Richard-&-Shannon, and Other Family and Friends:
I was saddened to learn of the death of Robert on April 14, 2015. It is sad to lose a loved one in death at any age, but hopefully at 85, it can be said of Robert what was said of Isaac at Genesis 25:39 "he died old and satisfied with days. Even though I did not know Robert personally, please accept my deepest sympathy in this second year of your loss.
I would like to share with you some verses from the Bible that bring continuing comfort, thoughts that others have shared with me when I lost loved ones.
First, it was never our Creator's purpose that anyone should die, ever! When He put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, they had the prospect of endless life in ageless bodies, in perfect health, on a perfect Earth (Genesis 1:28). Adam and Eve could have passed that life on to us, but they sinned and lost everything for themselves ... and us. (Romans 5:12)
Next, it comforted me and softened my feelings toward Jehovah God to learn that it is Satan who causes aging, sicknesses like cancer, and death--not God (Hebrews 2:14). Long before He created humans, the Creator already had all the angels He wanted in heaven (Job 38:7).
Finally, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are our guarantees that this Earth will yet be a peaceful, global paradise and that Robert (and countless millions of others) will be resurrected to enjoy it! Remember Jesus' words at John 5:28-29a and John 11:25: "I am the resurrection and the life," and "all those in the memorial tombs ... will be resurrected." Until then Robert, Rest In Peace.
May you have comfort and peace from these promises until the day when you can be reunited with a young and healthy Robert. And, ... if you would ever like to know more about when and how our Creator Jehovah will bring about these wonderful blessings (or why He has allowed sickness, suffering and death since Adam and Eve sinned so long ago), please feel free to contact me at the address below.
With deepest sympathy and genuine respect,
Harolyne Grant

I always enjoyed visiting with Uncle Bob and liked how he made a special point to visit us on his way to Kentucky. He was a wonderful person and told some great stories. His passing is a terrible loss for the family. I will miss him.
