Ann (Smith) Landers passed away in Rochester on November 2, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born in Auburn, NY on October 20, 1947, the daughter of the late Francis and Catherine (Lyons) Smith.

Ann was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School and attended Cayuga Community College where she met the love of her life and best friend Richard and earned her "Mrs".

It was a long standing joke that Ann was Auburn's own "Ann Landers" She loved her name and everything that came with it. She was known to always be on the phone keeping in touch with family and friends. Ann and her late husband Dick were known for always welcoming everyone into their home. However, never more than their annual St Patrick's Day party or Christmas Eve celebrations.

Ann was an active participant in anything and everything related to her children, Kelly Diego, Cathy (John) Vail and Brian Landers and her grandchildren, Hannah & Aiden Diego, Jessica Vail and Bodhi Landers. Her bridge groups are too numerous to mention along with all of her other social circles. Ann was an active member of the St. Mary's parish where she was a regular volunteer at Bingo and monthly pasta dinners.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard F.
