Obituary of Paul Erwin Buske

Paul Erwin Buske (Wally), 78, of Auburn, NY passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Monday, September 02, 2024 in Auburn, NY. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ellen (Field) Buske, two sons: Brian Buske of Auburn, NY, Jonathan Buske of Baldwin, NY, loving daughter-in-law Julie (Madocks) Buske, and his two grandchildren, Madelyn and Abigail. Born on July 15, 1946 in Oswego, NY, Paul was the youngest child of Richard and Helen (Geery) Buske. He is predeceased by his eldest brother, Rick in 2000. He was a graduate of Santa Fe Junior College in Gainesville, FL and SUNY Oswego, and earned his masters degree at SUNY Brockport. Paul was a teacher at West Middle School for over 30 years. He was also a member of the ELKS brotherhood and an active communicate at Sts. Peter & John Episcopal Church in Auburn, NY. When he wasn't working, Paul enjoyed spending summers under his favorite Nordic Maple tree at his cottage on Little Sodus Bay in Fair Haven, NY. He also loved music and singing karaoke. Paul was truly someone special and one of a kind. His quick wit, generosity, and admiration for friendship was to be revered. In lieu of flowers, a donation in his memory can be made to the American Heart Association. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Friday, September 06, 2024 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at Langham Funeral Home, 75 E Genesee Street, Auburn, NY with a 5pm service to follow.
