Obituary of Chester Francis Weslowski
Chester F. Weslowski, 81, of Auburn, passed away with his family by his side on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Auburn he was the son of the late Francis and Jean (Petrowski) Weslowski. He was a 1960 graduate of East High School and retired from Welch Allyn where he was an inspector in quality control.
He is survived by the love of his life for 39 years, Dianne (Crosier) Weslowski; two sons, Greg Weslowski, Mark (Carol) Weslowski; a sisterGail Schutt; two grandchildren Tyler (Lauren) Weslowski and Nina (Jeremy Fredenburg); two step children, Scott (Darlene) Beary and Stephanie (John) Siblosky; two step grandchildren, Nicholas Beary and John Siblosky; a niece and five nephews; brother in law Jerry Kroker and a very special brother in law Ronald (Marlene) Carpenter.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son Kevin Weslowski, a sister Donna Kroker, his favorite dogs, Sir Gallahad and Duncan and his grand dog Dukester.
Chester was a drummer with numerous CNY bands from the young age of sixteen, and most recently with the band Moondance. His love for music was passed along to his three sons, Greg, Mark and Kevin. In addition to his passion for music, Chester was an avid reader, enjoyed history, bird watching and always took pride in his well manicured lawn. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church.
Calling hours will be Monday, October 23 from 11am to 1pm at Langham Funeral Home, LLC, Auburn. Private services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Chester's name may be made to the SPCA, for his love of animals or to the American Heart Association.
