To the Connor Family,
I cannot remember a time, not one time, when I spoke to Sue and she wasn’t pleasant. Her smile, sincere presence, and quiet, witty sense of humour most will never forget.
Katie and Connor siblings, I am truly sorry for your loss of this wonderful woman.

Deepest sympathy to Susan's family. Sue was deeply loved. Her humor and sense of Justice will always stay with me. Sue would throw in the best zingers or one liners with perfect comedic timing. She had me laughing all day.
Katie, I'm so sorry for your loss. Your mother was truly a beautiful human who filled peoples lives with joy. She loved you very much.

Early in the 1970's I met Sue Connor at Prudential Insurance Company my 1st real job from high school. We quickly became friends! One day Suzie said she would drive us in her car to Ithaca College for an Elton John concert. We were so excited! After the concert on that fateful night Sue took the wrong road to go home. The road we should have been o to go home had no stop signs. But the road she took, did. Consequently she drove through a stop sign at a major intersection & sadly a car from the opposite direction hit us broadside at full speed hitting us on the drivers side. I was living in a slow motion movie, and on impact it seemed to me I could see and hear all around me, but could not neither speak nor move. It was as if I was invisible. Then a good sameritan pulled over then came to help us. He pulled me out of the car and carried me like a baby placing me in the back seat of his car, then went back to get the others. While waiting to help the others I sat there, remembering everything. I remember being in in a state of shock (in which I could neither speak or nor move but had full awareness of all around me). Then other sameritans came to help and we were all taken to the local hospital. The next day I could hardly move - so sore from the accident- but went to work anyway. Sue then spoke to me later saying that even though she was the only one hurt (a broken collar bone I believe, or she broke something in the shoulder area). She never gave a thought to herself. Sue was only concerned with the fact that she could have killed all her passengers and how could she live with that, she said. She was terribly disturbed by this thought. I remember her kind thoughts and tender words like it was yesterday. God Bless You Sue - you are the BEST - Rest in Peace, we love you!

Suzie was one of those truly beautiful people. My late husband Christian Hoerger knew as children at grade school and thru high school. He always felt she was the most genuine and giving person, and he counter her as a lifelong friend. I first met Suzie in high school and she was always kind and funny. She was such a good soul. My condolences to her family. I know she will be missed.
