I am so sad. I could not believe my eyes when I saw this posted on Facebook. As many of you can testify to, Marion was one in a million - a very kind, thoughtful, caring, crazy, hilarious, wonderful woman. I am lucky to have known her for so many years and to have had her as a mentor. Without her love and guidance through several troubling times, I truly would not be here today. Rest in peace, dear friend.

I and many Friends from all over New York State are shocked & saddened to hear of Marion’s Passing!
I remember her sense of humor, her kindness, her dedication to Serve to us. She was able to see the bigger picture when we needed clarity! .
May her Family know she touch the lives of many & & she loved us as well as her children.
Hugs to all of you!

To Marion’s family I send my love and condolences. What a great friend she was! It was such a shock to learn she had passed. Our friendship goes back over 40 years. As the years passed we grew closer, sharing sorrows and laughs. Our kids were teenagers at the same time and we often giggled about how we had survived “the terrible teens”. Our frequent phone calls and lunch outings will be missed more than I can express. It won’t be the same to not hear her voice on the other end of the phone. Marion, your love and friendship were a blessing. I am so thankful that we could let each other know how much we loved and appreciated each other.

I worked with Marion at Walmart and had the pleasure of spending time with her away from work. She was always so pleasant and kind. Great sense of humor, even when she wasn't feeling her best. I send her family prayers and love thru this time. I will miss spending time with her.

My heart is breaking as I am writing this message. I can't imagine a world without my dear, dear friend Marion. I first met Marion when I was a young mom living in Utica and Marion was living in Rome. We both had teenagers at the same time. Our life journey brought us both to the Glenn's Falls-Lake George area where we continued our friendship. Even though we haven't lived in the same area for over 25 years, I would pick up the phone and it was just like we were in the same room together again laughing. What I remember most about Marion is her wicked sense of humor. Sometimes I would just shake my head at her, and laugh until I cried at the same time. I can't imagine a world where I'm not able to pick up a phone and hear her voice on the other end. To her family, I can't imagine the depth of your loss. Please know you are not alone and there are others out here who feel your pain. Marion Wezowicz, I love you and I will miss you with all my heart. Nancy Beckett

I have never met anyone in Marion’s family, and have only really kept in touch via Facebook since I left Connecticut, but I want you all to know what a special woman Marion was (as if you didn’t already know!). Her mentorship was literally life-changing for me. I still hear her voice in my head encouraging me towards the goal of handling difficult situations “with grace and dignity.” She will always be remembered as someone God put in my path for a very special purpose and I hope I can honor her by being that person for someone else. Thank you, Marion
