Please accept my condolences on the death of your husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. I worked with Dick since the start of my career at GTE Sylvania, and moved together with Dick and Julia to Ann Arbor, MIchigan area under the company's continuation under Philips Display Components. My wife Pat and I also moved back to the Auburn area after the company's closing under LG-Philips Display. Dick was a great guy, who had a great sense of humor, and made the workplace like a second family. I still remember his comment to me ("What's wrong with this picture? The father usually gives his car to his kids and not the other way around.") after I gave my car to my aging father. He made me feel like I had done someting special.
I wished I had known Dick moved back to the Auburn area (Bluefield Manor) after Glens Falls. I would have enjoyed reminiscing abount the old times making TVs. Where else would he have worked with a father's name of T.V. !
