Dear Esther,
I only heard today of Luke's passing. I deeply regret missing his calling hours and am so very sorry for your loss. I'll be praying for you, Tim ('young Luke'), and your families for a long time to come. God is with you and will support and comfort you.
You and Luke were a wonderful couple. While you were with us, you lightened our hearts and brightened our days. I feel blessed to have known and 'adopted' you both.
It was an absolute honor to be Luke's nurse and a small part of your lives. I will never forget you.
