The entire staff and volunteers of the Seward House Museum will greatly miss Manny. We came to know him well over the past 10 years. He played the piano every Christmas Open House since 2010. He played beautifully and from memory. He always told me it was an honor to play our 1872 Steinway and that he felt the history surrounding that amazing instrument. He was charming, witty, and always a gentleman. May he rest in peace.

Manuel was my cousin through my deceased wife. I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing and reflected upon the many hours he and I spent together talking about things we had in common. In years past, we would often meet in Syracuse and have late supper at a diner that we both enjoyed. Over the years my wife and I would frequent the many venues he played piano at and have a great time. He was very kind gentle man who I will never forget

I am a member of Holy Family for the past 17 years that I have been living in Auburn and remember seeing Emmanuel at Mass there as well at Sacred Heart in the morning. Speaking briefly to him, Good morning, have a nice day and him responding pleasantly I have always been impressed with how devout he was and could feel the great love he had for Jesus. A life well lived and now he will rest in the arms of Our Lord for eternity. Goodbye Emmanuel and peace be with you. Sue &Bob Marullo
