Dear Eunice was my mother's cousin. My mom was Elouise Gilmore Davis. When our mom died Eunice was there, with kindness, with compassion, with generosity. I will never forget her kindness to us kids at a time when our loss was deep and a shock. I was probably not very receptive at the time because of the shock and grief of losing our mom so soon, but I know full well now how Eunice went out of her way to be helpful, to be kind, and comforting. I am, and I know my whole family is very sorry to hear of her passing. I hope her family is comforted by the fact that compassion and kindness will now be given to her abundantly in paradise. What a remarkable woman!
