Ruth J. Dixon MacDavitt, 88, of Elbridge, died September 16, 2018 at The Commons on St. Anthony, Auburn. Born in Syracuse, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Dean (Ham) Tanner. Ruth was employed at and retired from Mullen Industrial Handling. She was a member of the CNY Doll Club and loved her trips to Las Vegas and Saratoga.
She is survived by her sons Brian (Jackie) Dixon, Lyle (Nan) Dixon, William (Sue) MacDavitt,James (Josephine) MacDavitt and by her daughters, Pat Caswell, Janet Herzog, Donna Hoose; niece and nephew, Kathy Raisman and Gary Tanner and by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by husbands Richard MacDavitt and Jerome Dixon, her son David Mark Dixon, a sister Pearl Tanner, a brother Ross Tanner and Sister in law Marie.
Ruth's family extends their graditude to the 2nd floor at The Commons for the exceptional care given to Ruth.
