I remember Mr. Monroe. He’s one of the wonderful characters from my childhood that I remember with warm affection. I remember his laugh, his friendliness. Most of all, I remember how the adults in my family liked him. He was liked and admired by many. And I think that fact makes a nice addition to his obituary.
