Obituary of Christopher C. Hilliard

Christopher C. Hilliard, 30, of Moravia, passed away July 22, 2017 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born in Auburn, he was the son of Charles and Susan Walters Hilliard. Chris graduated from Southern Cayuga High School and was a Marine Veteran. Chris was employed as a corrections officer at Auburn Correctional Facility. He was a great athlete and coach who loved soccer. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hiking. He is survived by his beloved wife of eight years, Michelle Solis Hilliard; his parents Charles and Susan Hilliard, his adoring daughters, Kylie, Alana and Gisella; a sister Heidi Hilliard; two sister-in-laws, Kenia Baez-Peterson and Stephanie Solis and by several nieces and nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Calling hours will be Tuesday July 25 from 12-4 and 5-7 at Langham Funeral Home, LLC. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at St. Alphonsus Church at 12:30 followed by burial with military honors in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
