Dear Sharon-&-Leslie, Ronald-&-Margaret, Donald-&-Carmella, Family and Friends:
I was saddened to learn of the death of Charlotte on June 8, 2016. It is sad to lose a loved one in death at any age, but prayerfully at 94 years of age, it can be said of Charlotte what was said of Isaac at Genesis 25:39, "she died old and satisfied with days." Even though I did not know Charlotte personally, please accept my deepest sympathy at your loss.
I would like to share with you some verses from the Bible that bring comfort, thoughts that others have shared with me when I lost loved ones, especially my parents.
First, it was never our Creator's purpose that anyone should die, ever! When He put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, they had the prospect of endless life in ageless bodies, in perfect health, on a perfect Earth (Genesis 1:28). Adam and Eve could have passed that life on to us, but they sinned and lost everything for themselves ... and us. (Romans 5:12)
Next, it comforted me and softened my feelings toward Jehovah God to learn that it is Satan who causes aging, sickness and death--not God (Hebrews 2:14). Long before He created humans, the Creator already had all the angels He wanted in heaven (Job 38:7).
Finally, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are our guarantees that this Earth will yet be a peaceful, global paradise and that Charlotte (and countless millions of others, including Raymond, Esther, brother Donald, and of course James) will be resurrected to enjoy it! Remember Jesus's words at John 5:28-29a and John 11:25: "I am the resurrection and the life," and "all those in the memorial tombs ... will be resurrected."
May you have comfort and peace from these promises until the day when you can be reunited with a young and healthy Charlotte. And, ... If you would ever like to know more about when and how our Creator Jehovah will bring about these wonderful blessings (or why He has allowed sickness, suffering and death since Adam and Eve sinned so long ago), please feel free to contact me at the address below.
With deepest sympathy and genuine respect,
Harolyne Grant

Charlotte was indeed a good and loyal friend! Knowing her first from Doan's and later finding her at the College where she became my mentor and friend. I have many special memories of her and her kindnesses, recipes, and friendship. She was the first person I knew who went on a cruise and we (her College friends) had a Bon voyage party for her that was hilarious. You could have lots of fun with Charlotte. She brought my family a complete meal when my husband had lung surgery. You don't forget these kindnesses, and I never will.
Rest in peace my friend and we'll meet again and continue our friendship! God bless you!

Jeannette and family,
Please accept our most true, heartfelt sympathy. I know how special your Gram was to you and the kids, and I know how hard this loss is. I can see you, Jack and Delaney in her smile in the photo. You are one of the most kind, loving people I know; clearly carrying on your Gram's legacy. All our love,
Gwen, Mackenzie, Collin & Shannon

Dear Sharon and family,
I was so sorry to hear of Charlotte's passing. She was a wonderful woman who I loved being around. I've only known her for several years through Jan but adored her. She was sweet and fun and a joy to be around. She will be missed by all who knew her.

I was terribly saddened to read of Charlotte's passing. We worked together at the College for many years and I always enjoyed Charlotte's wit and presence. Both she and Jimmy were just good people, full of life and determined to enjoy it. She will be missed by many. My sincerest condolences to her family.

I have many fond memories of Charlotte as a colleague at Cayuga Community College. She was the consummate professional who did her job well and the Business Office and payroll always ran well under her leadership. She was thoughtful, kind, and friendly; a real class act. I feel privileged to have known her. May she rest in peace.
